Almost two months in Berlin and I’ve finally made my first of what I expect to be many purchases. Although I’d browsed a couple of vintage spots over the course of my first few weeks here, I inevitably left empty-handed, conscious of my bandy suitcase and the impending move that was…
This past weekend, however, I managed to tear myself away from reading theory of comedy and scrutinising Chaplin’s The Great Dictator (not – unsuprisingly – very difficult at all) in order to finally secure some Summer staples. Although both Zara and COS proffered some possibilities (deep blues, check shirts, chino shorts, Breton tees), it was, what I now like to refer to as the 8th Wonder of the World, Swedish store Weekday that truly came up with the goods.
^ Weekday’s own label; the store also carries Cheap Monday, Collaboration and Vintage collections
And how; immediately entranced by both the well-designed stock on the rails as well as the frankly stunning clientele, I wandered through the two levels of the store collecting possible purchases. I brought around five items to the changing room and bought four (two of which are pictured below)…
^ Breton shirt from Weekday; chino shorts from Weekday; boots by Grafters, blazer from Zara.
More to come over the next week…
And you are ready for the summer! Classic, updated look. I like. http://www.snappylifestyle.com
