This Week in Style

July 13, 2008
Who’d have thought starting and quitting a job was so time-consuming, infuriating and, well, taxing? Anyway, since I’m now – once again – unemployed for the Summer I find myself with an abundance of time to peruse the recently presented collections and the Men’s Style latest ‘This Week in Style’ feature. The latter is proving amusing indeed.

Men’s Style lauded Hartnett for his obvious lack of consideration for the outfit above. I, on the other hand, can’t help but scold the lazy individual. He should’ve just stayed in his PJs. At least that would have shown some style awareness.

Will I even bother? I know he’s bound – to an extent – due to the band’s image but surely such sartorial puerility is not called for?

I love it. No, not the ensemble or – generally – Diddy’s personal style, rather the brilliant white piping. It’s just so chic for men right now and yet so few actually sport it…actually, the hideous tack dangling around his neck has just started to detract from any redemption the piping may have offered…

mr style – RU kidding? please say yes -the style on #2 is so heinous where do you start? the – so over and sick of it – pork pie hat, clown glasses, maybe the jeans and T OK, in an H&M kind of way, but the kicks! oh no he didn’t!with tight red jeans? how about some creepers for authenticity, since he is a musician. how about stay home next time!and totally agree on the white piping for summer jackets. been seeing that around a bit, and it’s chic and sharp. but ditto on diddy – tacky. doesn’t even wear his own label, not that I blame him.

Piping rules my world, but alas I have none of it.

I don’t think the red jeans are awful. It’s just the red jeans with that Tee, those pale sneakers and the tats. *shudder* those tats…

Josh Hartnett – i can deal with his untidy sense of T-R-Y-I-N-G to look as if he has a style-o-meter. Nonetheless, he has a pretty face to make up for his fall back. As for Mr P Wents: For a slap-down-lazy rocker look he certainly has the blend right. Simply throw on a random printed white T, Red skinnes to add a rock touch, a hat to cover the unwashed hair and wait for it – – – – – – add blue laced shinny TAKS for an unmathced confusion – THOSE KICKS!!!?? (i’m thinking of added them to my solar energy panels) Com’on Pete, have you not heard of ROCK CHIC!?Diddy and piping – NOT ON! ___________________________________MALE-MODE HAS BECOME ONE OF MY TOP FAVOURITES SITES!!!!!! nancy: Couldn’t agree more.Thom: It saddens me for I too lack requisite piping. This simply must be rectified in the coming weeks.kira: Added!blueangel: You make me blush.Imelda: Although I shan’t interpret Mr. S’ comment, I can openly declare my similar opinion on Pete! Fucker!riz: A pleasure./DCB.

That man has always been stylish, even before he made his millions and he was a backing dancer

Pete W is probably one of the most irritating people on the planet as of now. His faux ‘rocker’ style makes Axl Rose back in the day look seriously well dressed! As for the unemployment, what can we say, other then the recession!
