Confessions and a come-back.

So, a ca. 5 month hiatus without explanation; that’s a bit awkward. I could give you the ‘I’ve been a bad blogger, unfollow/spank/forgive me!’ spiel but I’d rather not flatter myself in thinking your day-to-day existence depended on reading my often arbitrary and incoherent fashion-y tidbits. Still, I will say that I’ve been hiding under an ivory rock labelled Academia since January, most of time consumed by my BA dissertation which regularly saw me plunge to new depths of self-criticism, neurosis and general bat-shittiness. For those of you at all interested, the end title was ‘The Revolution and Its Boyfriend: Politics and Pornography in the Films of Bruce LaBruce’ and the research was not as fun as you might think (well, a little…). 

Anyway, assorted insights aside, Male-Mode.com is back open for business, complete with a new illustration by everyone’s favourite (the others lie…) London-based illustrator Richard Kilroy. The look’s Calvin Klein AW 2012 by the way…

Updates to come, some possibly from the other side of Europe (you’ll have to wait and see…). It’s good to be back.
