While I waxed lyrical on florals for Totally Dublin a few weeks back, I can’t honestly they form a large part (or any at all, really…) of my wardrobe. The Margiela I highlighted in that post was interesting, and definitely wearable but I just couldn’t picture myself working it to its full effect. Now, I find myself reconsidering all things flower-laden due to 10 Corso Como for Liberty of London‘s SS10 lookbook.
Temperatures are rising (if only barely) in Dublin, the sun has re-emerged after that too-long sabbatical and I’m contemplating what will be worn for the coming months. Liberty provides (for the most part – not so hot on that graph-paper-esque check) ample inspiration. Florals may send many men running but that’s probably due to the print’s connotations (camp 60s/70s paraphernalia). The looks below highlight the print’s more modest side and work towards a more demure dandy, rather than psychedelic tree-hugger, aesthetic.
